I thought the same thing. Since we have an away game in New Orleans in 2010 it could be the opener. The only other consideration is that we began the 09 season on the road and are due for a home game to start the 2010 season.

I remember going out a bar Saturday night before the 99' Min v. Atl opening game (after we lost the NFC championship)....and I kept yelling randomly...."Chandler Won't Finish The Game!". And...he didn't. Johnny R. had knocked him out before the 3rd quarter started. Thank you Big Dog.

Ouch! I guess you don't think it's getting carried away wishing injury on a player. Drew Brees by all accounts is a good guy, not sure why you would want ill will on him.

NBC will want the highest ratings possible, and if Favre returns, then it's a lock that we'd be the opening game. The only other two possibilities for the saints and high ratings would be their steelers matchup or Atlanta.

I do not want to see them intentionally try and injure Brees, but there are some DL's on that team I wouldn't mind seeing get cut or chopped... Their defense played dirty and it paid off with a SB victory... I have no qualms with a few cheap shots on their DL in a rematch... I expect the Cowboys to try and rub it in Vikings faces also next season... Its called payback...
